My trial professor in law school said that he has owned every edition for the last 30 years.I purchased the Kindle edition of Evidentiary Foundations and I am very happy about it. I was deciding whether to purchase this in print or for my Kindle. The hyperlinks are very useful as you can skip right to the section you need to see. It's organized well and I have access to it on my Kindle, iPad Mini, and my laptop. It great to have it in many forms whenever I need it.

One of my more helpful law books. I think it's a keeper.
I might have made a better grade in Evidence. This book lays out the practical application of evidentiary rules and at the same time teaches, certainly better than my professor did, what those evidentiary rules really are and how they function. This should be a standard first year text and I don't understand why it's not.

Didnt use it at all. Casebook was comprehensive, and I don't like the way this supplement was set up- I prefer the examples and explanations. There was too much info in this book that was unnecessary. I call it "fluff"- I prefer black letter law/rules because that is what you are tested on when you take the bar. I used the flashcards by Wolters-Klewer, they were awesome.
Law students
This book is the answer to all your evidence exam questions. This book is the answer to all your in-clinic/mock trial questions about "how do I...." It is extremely helpful and I recommend it to anyone.
Lawyers
You probably already know most of these, but some of the finer points will come in handy one day when you need to get something crazy into evidence. Or maybe when you need to prevent the opposing party from getting something in.
Laymen
This is at least semi-interesting, so you might pick it up at the library just to glance at. It might make a cool book "on a bookshelf," too.
